ChÂteauneuf-du-Pape
2050 BOTTLES PRODUCED
94% Grenache, 3% Mourvèdre, 3% Syrah
98 points - Wine Advocate
"I was blown away by the balance and elegance displayed by this micro-estate's 2015 Châteâuneuf du Pape. From just over half a hectare, this is 94% Grenache, matured in a combination of concrete and older barrels. Roses, potpourri, and cherries appear on the nose of this beauty, which winemaker Stéphane Vedeau describes as 'very soft, elegant, feminine.' It's full-bodied but airy and is lacy in texture, with a spine of orange zest that focuses and refines the whorl of spice, floral, and herbal flavors. It should drink well for more than a decade."

Gigondas

70% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre

"From a bit less than 1.5 hectares above 300 meters in elevation, this 70-30 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre offers bold notes of ripe cherries and blueberries on the nose. The 2015 Gigondas is full-bodied, with supple tannins and a velvety texture. ...it offers lovely fruit, texture, and intensity. It should drink well for a decade or more, gradually developing more spice and leather along the way. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."
